For onset stereo analysis Screen Plane owns several systems of Pure-Onset. The software is a live analyzer of the rig alignment and stereo parameters giving the stereographer a precise readout on all rig axis and on the current stereo settings.
The Distribution Box is a compact unit for signal distribution and stereo multiplexing on a 3D set.
The box contains a 16×16 Black Magic switcher a two channel multiple- xer and 4 configurable small control screens. It offers loop in functions to control multiple rigs with the Pure-Onset system.
Combined with a multichannel recorder, this unit can provide recording and playback for up to 4 stereo rigs.
DOCUMENTARY CONTROL UNIT
For documentaries, driving shots or unaccessible locations, the minimum requirement for stereo setup and alignment is the Documentary Control Unit.
If required, it allows to reduce the camera crew to a minimum of 3 people (DoP, 1AC, stereographer) on extreme projects or shots.
This battery driven unit can be used for alignment, monitoring and stereo onset playback and is wired or wireless connected to the rig.
